In early 2022, PVL Properties launched a fundraiser dedicated to helping children affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. The devastating conflict in Ukraine is a human tragedy, the likes of which Europe has not witnessed in the 21st century. As is always the case in any war, millions of children have fallen victim to the recent events, having been forced to witness atrocities and flee their homes.
To do our bit to help those most in need, we had collaborated with the charity Save The Children, whose primary objective is to respond to the immediate needs of children and their families who are crossing borders into the neighbouring countries of Ukraine. We had established a fundraiser on JustGiving, inviting our tenants to donate to the cause and pledging to match their donations. We also reached out to the landlords we work with, inviting them to make further donations.
Thanks to the generous contributions from the landlords and tenants, we were able to raise over £22,000 for the charity by the end of 2022. We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has donated to the cause. Your generosity has enabled Save The Children to support thousands of children and families on their journey to safety.
